Yusuf, a 27-year-old designer and textile artist, lives in Kadıköy, Istanbul.

His artistic journey began in childhood, growing up surrounded by threads and fabrics under the influence of his mother, who was an embroidery instructor. The core concepts shaping his works include cultural richness, sensory experiences, and a critical interplay of contrasts—often unsettling—between the male body and artistic harmony.

Using various thread weaving techniques, he brings his art to life, particularly through Punch, tufting, and different trimming methods. His inspirations stem from the fusion of tropicalism, symbolism, and orientalism, combined with the chaotic vibrancy of colors, which he integrates into carpets and tapestries. Through these techniques, he aims to create a unique mode of expression, focusing on cultural diversity, sensory depth, and multi-layered meanings in his works.
